LPPA is pleased to announce that our CEO, Jo Darbyshire, has joined the PASA (Pensions Administration Standards Association) Board.
PASA is a non-profit organisation, focussed on driving standards in UK pensions administration. Its key aim is to promote and improve the quality of pensions administration services for UK pension schemes.
Since it was set up in 2011, PASA has significantly grown its membership and helped to shape the industry with a number of key initiatives. Notable achievements to date include introducing a set of standards, which are used as the industry benchmark for high-quality pension administration and a code of practice for the transfer of administration services between providers.
Jo is one of four new members to be appointed as a non-executive director of the PASA Board. They include Amanda Asante of the Independent Governance Group, Daniel Taylor of pensions administrator Trafalgar House, and Ian McQuade of the independent pensions consultancy, Muse Advisory.
Jo Darbyshire said: ‘I’m delighted to have joined the PASA Board. Improving the quality of pension administration is something that’s close to my heart because it can make such a big difference. At LPPA, we go out of our way to provide the best possible member experience and I know that PASA shares the same values. I’m looking forward to adding a public sector perspective to the PASA Board and helping to improve pension administration for the UK.’
