Three experts from across LPPA will be speaking at the Pension Managers’ Conference next week.

LPPA’s Head of Risk and Compliance, Janet Morville-Smith, Head of Business Change, James Clarke, and Technical Manager, Neil Lewins, will all be speaking at the event, which takes place on 16 and 17 November. As in previous years, it will be held in Torquay, after a virtual conference took place in 2020.

Aimed at Local Government pension managers and their deputy and assistant officers, the annual conference provides the opportunity to discuss a range of pension topics and policy issues.

Janet, James and Neil will be speaking in the session Managing Change Projects and Regulatory Implementation on Tuesday 16 November. This will cover how LPPA approaches and manages change, such as pension regulatory changes, both in and outside the business, from training staff to interacting with clients.

James said: ‘The pension industry is forever changing as a result of new regulations, innovations and technology. Managing this change effectively has never been more important to our industry and I’m looking forward to sharing our approach at this year’s conference.’
