Essential employer training
We offer a range of live online training sessions to help you get started quickly and confidently. Please use the booking form below to reserve your place.

We recommend that all new users attend each of the modules to ensure that you can fully provide the required member information to us.

Who is this for?
This session will show you how to: log in to the employer portal; reset your password and update your details; search for a member and start a process; run reports; reassign and respond to queries.

This session will show you how to: access and use the template and specifications; complete and upload your file; useful tips and things to remember when uploading your file

How long is it for?
This training session lasts for 1 hour
Who is this for?
This session will show you: how to run a calculation for a leaver and obtain strain costs; how to complete and submit a leaver form.
When does it take place?
Thursday 16 October – 10.30am
Wednesday 22 October – 2pm
Thursday 30 October – 10.30am
Thursday 6 November – 2pm

UPM employer portal access
The UPM employer portal is your secure online gateway for managing pension administration tasks quickly and efficiently. From submitting joiner and leaver forms to uploading monthly data, the portal is designed to make your responsibilities easier to manage.

FAQs
You will receive an activation link and log in details on 24th October 2025, it is then your responsibility to activate your account in order to access the portal
We have a dedicated employer engagement team that will continue to support you as employers in the Hackney Fund, offering training and guidance. We also have dedicated employer pages on our website with lots of useful guidance around our different processes, along with monthly training sessions throughout the year.
You can notify us either via the monthly data return or via a LPPA New Joiner form on UPM. Please note you should only use 1 method, as this could result in ta duplicate record.
We have an ‘Employer Toolkit‘ which includes some communications that you can download and save to help you promote the pension scheme benefits with your employees.
