If you enter information from a pension document such as an annual benefit statement, retirement letter or pension payslip into an external AI tool, please be aware that:
- Your information may not remain private.
- Many AI platforms store or reuse the data you provide.
- Once shared, your details could become part of a wider dataset that you can’t fully control.
To keep your information safe, you should avoid entering personal or identifiable pension details into AI tools.
Some scammers now use AI to create convincing messages or documents that appear official. LPPA will never ask you to use AI tools or share personal information through them. If you are unsure whether a message is genuine, contact us directly.
