We are delighted to announce that LPPA outshone many of the industry’s leading administrators to win the Pension Administration Award at the 2025 LAPF Investments Awards!
The award recognised LPPA’s administration excellence across all areas of its business – from communications and customer service to data management, reporting and use of technology.
The winners were revealed at an award ceremony in London on Thursday 2 October, presented by Vernon Kay. The judges were particularly impressed with the positive impact that AI and automation had on LPPA’s operational performance and service levels throughout the year – an area we have put a lot of effort into over the last 12 months.
It was also good to see that LPPA’s latest client, London Borough of Hackney, picked up an award for LGPS Fund of the Year. Later this month, LPPA will become Hackney’s pension administration provider, so it was great to celebrate together.
The LAPF Investments Awards were established in 2015 to celebrate outstanding achievement in the LGPS. They feature some of the most respected names in the industry and are designed to recognise the best individuals and organisations in the UK public sector arena.
Jo Darbyshire, LPPA’s Chief Executive Officer, said:
‘It means a lot for the team’s hard work to be recognised. The innovations we introduced this year, especially around automation, have helped us improve efficiencies and drive improvements to the member experience.’
Chris Dawson, LPPA’s Head of Marketing and Communications, attended the event and said:
‘We are so proud to receive the Pension Administration Award for the first time! This achievement is a tribute to our team’s hard work and LPPA’s performance over the last 12 months. It strengthens our commitment to continue providing the best possible service to the members, employers and clients we support.’
This year’s shortlist included a particularly strong field of administrators. Congratulations to all the other winners and finalists on the night. To see the full list of nominations, click here.
